Asker 1312CS is an 85 cm bollard light: a plain rectangular column with a forward-projecting head that throws its light downwards. The body is cast aluminium powder-coated in a corten-steel colour, a warm rust-brown shade – the material itself is aluminium, not steel. Index 1312 differs from the other Asker bollards in its DALI2 control.
How big it is and where it goes
The bollard is 85 cm tall and 11 cm wide, and the head projects 20 cm. At that height it lights the surface of a path, driveway or terrace at knee level, so the light does not dazzle people walking past. The manufacturer intends it for gardens, private grounds and architectural lighting. It is fixed through four ø8 mm holes spaced 18 × 50 mm; the concrete anchor, ground anchor or concrete-foundation adapter is ordered separately.
How much light and what kind
The two LED modules produce 1190 lm in total, and 642 lm leaves the luminaire at a power draw of 8.5 W. 3000 K is warm white, and the whole output is aimed downwards – the manufacturer states a ULOR of 0%, so the bollard does not light the sky or nearby windows. A clear, textured, UV-stabilised polycarbonate diffuser spreads the light over the ground.
Control is DALI2: the luminaire can be dimmed and programmed, but it needs an installation with a DALI controller. The driver is built in.
Installation and service
The bollard is rated IP65 with IK10 impact resistance, and as a protection class I luminaire it needs a protective earth conductor. The terminals take cables up to 5 × 2.5 mm² and allow looping through to the next luminaire, so several bollards along a path can run on one supply line. The card also states how many fit on one circuit breaker: 46 on a B10A and 74 on a B16A. The LED module and driver are replaced by a professional service – the manufacturer gives an L90 lifetime above 52,600 h for the LEDs and 100,000 h for the driver.
