Nowodvorski CHARLIE 8367 black recessed downlight GU10 Promo Code 🚀- NOVO15 until the end of Oct 25

Nowodvorski CHARLIE 8367 is a black recessed downlight with a round, deeply set light opening. Painted aluminium and glass form a compact ceiling light point rather than a fitting suspended below the ceiling. It takes one replaceable lamp and does not contain a built-in LED module.

Check the cut-out and the space above it

Before ordering, compare the fitting with your ceiling construction. Its width is 8.5 cm and its height is 11.5 cm, while the round mounting cut-out requires a diameter of 7.5 cm. The visible outer ring and the hole to be cut are therefore different sizes. Check the space above the ceiling as well: the size of the black front ring alone does not establish whether the body will fit.

CHARLIE requires recessed installation. When replacing an existing ceiling spotlight, check both the opening and the room for the body and electrical connection. Installation and connection should be carried out by a suitably qualified person.

Choose the lamp separately

The manufacturer specifies a GU10 R50 LED lamp with a maximum wattage of 15 W. No lamp is included. The 15 W figure is the permitted lamp rating, not the consumption of the empty fitting or a measure of the brightness you will receive.

Light colour and output depend on the lamp you select. For several light points in one room, compare the lamps' lighting specifications as well as their GU10 bases. The replaceable source can subsequently be changed without replacing the whole downlight.

A simple black detail for indoor ceilings

The circular shape suits modern and minimalist ceilings in bathrooms, kitchens and hallways. The manufacturer designates CHARLIE for indoor use. IP54/IP20 distinguishes the protection on the room-facing side from that above the ceiling; it does not give every component the same protection or permit installation anywhere in a bathroom.

A qualified installer should assess the position against the requirements of the relevant bathroom zone. Switch off and allow the fitting to cool before cleaning, keeping moisture away from electrical connections.
