Nowodvorski FOURTY ROUND 11950 is a black ceiling spotlight with nine movable heads arranged around a large circular ring. Painted aluminium and painted steel form an open frame rather than a continuous shade, leaving the centre clear between the slim cylindrical spotlights. This is the Black P013, RAL 9005 version from the FOURTY family.
A broad footprint without a long suspension
The fitting measures 116–130 cm across and 6.5–12 cm in height. Before choosing its position, compare that footprint with the available ceiling area as well as checking the room height. Allow for neighbouring fittings and other ceiling features. Each spotlight head is 8.5 cm high and 4 cm in diameter. Surface mounting spreads the light points over a wide area without hanging the frame from long cables.
Nine replaceable lamps, chosen separately
You will need nine LED GU10 R35 lamps, with a maximum rating of 10 W each; lamps are not included. The R35 designation matters when selecting the compact lamp format for these narrow heads. Colour temperature, light output and beam angle depend on your chosen lamps, so the number of sockets should not be treated as a brightness specification.
The heads rotate through up to 345° horizontally and tilt through up to 90° vertically. Individual spots can therefore be directed towards a dining table, shelving or a selected section of wall. The manufacturer specifies two lighting sections divided 3/6. Discuss how to use those sections with the installer in relation to the available wiring.
Positioning in a living or dining space
The substantial ring is primarily suited to spacious living rooms, dining rooms and open-plan daytime areas. Above a table it stays close to the ceiling, while the light direction can be matched to the furniture layout. Its thin outline, repeated tubular heads and black finish support modern, modernist and minimalist interiors. The fitting uses bracket mounting. Installation and electrical connection must be carried out by a suitably authorised person. The package contains the luminaire and instructions, leaving lamp selection to you.
