Nowodvorski UNO M 10842 white recessed downlight GX53 12 cm

The Nowodvorski UNO M 10842 is a white recessed downlight with a circular rim and a set-back opening for a flat GX53 lamp. Its painted-steel body has a P004 RAL 9003 finish. Concentric circles define the view from below, without a suspended shade or decorative arms.

Check the cutout, not just the outer width

The fitting measures 12 cm across, but it requires a round mounting hole measuring 10.2 cm in diameter. These dimensions serve different purposes. When replacing an existing downlight, compare the ceiling opening first rather than assuming that a similar visible rim guarantees a fit. The body itself is 4.5 cm high.

The installation drawing for UNO M specifies a minimum of 50 mm between the mounting plane and an obstruction above it. Check the available ceiling void before ordering as well as the hole size. This is a recessed fitting for a prepared opening, not a surface-mounted light with its complete body sitting below the ceiling.

Choose a separate GX53 LED lamp

There is one light point for a replaceable GX53 lamp. Only LED lamps are permitted, with a maximum rating of 15 W, and the lamp is not included. That figure is a lamp limit: it does not describe a fixed energy consumption or establish the brightness of the assembled light. Colour temperature and light output depend on the compatible lamp you select.

For several fittings in a living room, hallway or kitchen, compare the lamps' specifications to keep their light characteristics consistent. The white finish describes the metal body, not whether the emitted light will be warm or cool.

Minimal form, planned installation

The round rim and single-colour finish suit modern, minimalist interiors where lighting should remain part of the ceiling plane. The package contains the fitting, user instructions and installation instructions. A qualified person must make the 220–230 V electrical connection. Disconnect the power and allow the fitting to cool before cleaning.
