Nowodvorski UNO M 10843 is a black recessed downlight with a circular, inset front made from painted steel. Its visible rim surrounds a single replaceable GX53 lamp, while the body fits into a prepared ceiling opening. This is the M size in the UNO family, rather than the smaller UNO S or larger UNO L.
Match the ceiling opening before ordering
The fitting measures 12 cm across and 4.5 cm high. Installation requires a round cutout measuring 10.2 cm in diameter. The UNO M instructions specify at least 50 mm of installation space. Compare both the cutout and this space with your ceiling construction, particularly when replacing an existing recessed fitting. The height of the housing alone is not a substitute for the required installation space.
Side springs hold the fitting in the ceiling opening. It is designed for recessed mounting and a 220–230 V supply. A suitably qualified person must carry out the electrical connection with the power disconnected, following the manufacturer's instructions.
Choose one GX53 LED lamp separately
No light source is supplied. You need one GX53 LED lamp rated at no more than 15 W. That figure is the maximum permitted lamp wattage, not a fixed consumption figure for the fitting. Brightness and colour temperature depend on the lamp you choose. Check its specifications when deciding how many ceiling light points your layout requires, rather than treating wattage alone as a brightness measurement.
The replaceable source means that a later lamp change does not require replacing the entire downlight. Any replacement must still have the correct cap, rated voltage and permitted wattage.
A circular black detail in the ceiling
The plain round form suits modern and minimalist interiors. It can form part of a ceiling lighting arrangement in a living room, kitchen, hallway or office where recessed installation is possible. Against a light ceiling, the black rim remains a visible contrast. This is an indoor fitting, not garden lighting or a choice for locations exposed to moisture.
