Quintiesse Espada LED mirror wall light QN-ESPADA-2W-PC 70 cm, polished chrome

Espada QN-ESPADA-2W-PC is a Eurofase LED wall light in the Quintiesse range, intended for interiors, including bathrooms and above-mirror installation. A clear glass cylinder reveals regularly arranged optical elements, framed by sharply shaped polished-chrome ends. It is a decorative fitting with visible detailing rather than a plain light bar behind an opaque diffuser.

Allow for its 70 cm width

The fitting measures 70 cm wide and 14 cm high, with a projection of 18 cm from the wall. Compare all three measurements with your mirror, its frame and any neighbouring cabinets before deciding on a position. Width determines the proportions of the arrangement, while projection matters when a mirrored cabinet has doors that need to open. Checking the mirror width alone will not establish whether the available space is sufficient.

The manufacturer specifies interior and bathroom use with an IP44 rating. Espada can therefore be considered for a bathroom mirror, a bedroom dressing table or a mirror in a hallway. Bathroom positioning must still comply with electrical installation requirements: IP44 does not mean unrestricted placement next to water.

Integrated warm-white LED light

The LED source is part of the fitting, so there is no separate screw-base bulb to select. The manufacturer's figures are 23 W, 1360 lm LED output, a 3000 K colour temperature and CRI 93. Warm-white light and the high colour-rendering index are useful comparison points when choosing other lighting for the same mirror area.

Espada is dimmable and operates on a 220–240 V mains supply. Check dimmer compatibility before connecting it to existing controls; the available product documentation does not identify a particular dimmer model.

Polished chrome with a retro influence

The construction combines aluminium, steel and clear glass. Reflective metal, visible optical elements and knurled details give the fitting a distinctly decorative appearance. Its angular end pieces reference 1950s design, making it a relevant choice alongside modernist interiors or retro details. Compare the polished chrome with the finish of taps and the mirror frame rather than treating it as a matt silver surface.
