Quintiesse Linara Pendant Light QN-LINARA-P-BK, 1×E27, Black / Natural Brass

Linara QN-LINARA-P-BK is a single-light Kichler pendant in the Quintiesse collection. Vertical metal slats form a narrow cylindrical shade in matte black, contrasted by a suspension and ceiling canopy in a Natural Brass finish. The construction is steel: the brass description refers to the finish, rather than identifying the whole fitting as solid brass.

Separate the fitting height from the ceiling drop

The fitting measures 453 mm high and 152 mm in diameter. Its slender proportions suit a compact hanging composition rather than a broad chandelier arrangement. Compare the diameter with the surface below it and check the available ceiling height before choosing a position. The complete drop is 585 to 1499 mm, so the 453 mm measurement does not describe the full distance below the ceiling.

Four stems in different lengths are supplied to set the drop during installation. This is an installation adjustment, not an everyday height control. Above a dining table or kitchen island, check the space between the lower edge and the tabletop. In a living room or bedroom, consider seated sightlines and any circulation route beneath the fitting.

A visible E27 bulb, purchased separately

The single E27 socket accepts a bulb rated up to 60 W or an LED equivalent. No bulb is included. Kichler recommends a tall tubular bulb to match the elongated shade. Since the open slats leave the light source visible, its shape contributes to the appearance of the pendant; choose it alongside the required brightness and light colour, rather than treating it as a concealed component.

Light passes sideways between the slats. The manufacturer describes a radiating pattern on nearby walls and ceilings when the fitting is lit. Dimming requires a compatible dimmable bulb and a suitable dimmer switch, which is not supplied.

A slatted accent for modern and retro interiors

The repeating metal lines and black-and-brass contrast work with contemporary, retro and industrial settings. One pendant can define a smaller area, while separate fittings can be repeated over a longer surface. Each has its own ceiling canopy. Linara is intended for interior use; the resulting illumination depends on the selected bulb and installation position, not simply on the maximum permitted wattage.
