Riggs 2 Light Wall Light Elstead

Riggs wall light in weathered brass

Riggs is a two-light wall fitting that brings a considered industrial note to a bathroom or a carefully finished interior. The weathered-brass surface gives the steel body a gently aged character, while the clear ribbed-glass shades add texture without making the form heavy. At 381 mm wide, this Elstead wall light has enough presence to frame a mirror or punctuate a longer wall, yet its 179 mm projection keeps the profile disciplined.

Light, materials and proportions

The fitting takes two E27 lamps, so the final light level and appearance can be chosen to suit the room. It is compatible with dimmable bulbs, allowing the atmosphere to change with the selected lamps and control system. Ribbed clear glass keeps the source visible and contributes to the light-industrial look rather than producing an opaque, softened glow. The combination of steel, glass and brass-toned finishing pairs naturally with dark joinery, stone, painted panelling and metal fittings.

A considered place by the mirror

Riggs is designed for bathroom use and works especially well as part of a balanced mirror arrangement. Its two light points provide a useful layer of illumination beside other room lighting, while the horizontal silhouette gives a vanity wall a more deliberate composition. It can also suit a hallway, dressing area or bedroom where weathered metal and visible glass are part of the scheme. Plan the mounting position and electrical connection according to the room layout and applicable installation requirements.

Style with a practical edge

This is not a decorative fixture that relies on ornament alone: the ribbing in the glass, restrained lines and aged finish create the character. Choose matching E27 bulbs thoughtfully—clear lamps emphasise the shades’ texture, while the selected bulb output determines how bright the fitting will be for the intended task.
