Brinova LUMO wall light 1×E27 – walnut-stained pine and black metal, 50 cm high

The Brinova LUMO wall light pairs a horizontal piece of walnut-stained pine with a single black metal cage shade. Its cable wraps around the timber before dropping down to the lamp holder. Curved metal ribs form an open globe around the visible bulb. This is variant 2015623930010: walnut describes the finish of the pine, not the species of wood.

Visible timber, cable and metalwork

The pronounced wood grain contrasts with the thin black lines of the shade. This combination suits rustic interiors as well as industrial and loft schemes, with the cable and holder remaining visible parts of the design. LUMO is not a fabric-shaded wall light that conceals its light source. Allow for a total height of 50 cm

The complete fitting is 50 cm high and 19 cm wide; the manufacturer lists its length as 27 cm. The cage itself measures 19 cm in diameter and 17 cm in height, while the horizontal wooden element is 20 cm long. Compare these measurements with the available wall area and nearby furniture before positioning it beside a bed or along a passage. The 27 cm dimension does not refer to the overall height.

Choose the light for the intended position

A single E27 holder accepts a light source rated at no more than 25 W. Brightness and colour temperature depend on the bulb selected. The open cage does not screen the source from view, so check its position relative to eye level when placing the fitting beside a seat. As supplementary wall lighting, LUMO can complement a living room, bedroom, dining area or hallway rather than replace a directional task light.
