Elstead Bradbury 2-light wall light, E14, Grey Ash

Bradbury in Grey Ash is a two-light wall fitting by Quoizel, supplied through Elstead Lighting. An open steel frame surrounds two candle-style lampholders, with twisted lower elements and round finials giving the design a classical, rustic character. The ash-grey finish has a visibly textured surface rather than the appearance of smooth, pale-grey paint.

A tall outline with a measurable wall projection

The fitting is 41.8 cm high and 20.7 cm wide, creating a distinctly vertical outline. Compare both measurements with the available wall area before choosing its position, particularly between doors, beside furniture or close to other wall decorations. The decorative frame remains visible when the lights are switched off.

Its projection from the wall is 16.5 cm. In an entrance hall, corridor or stairway, allow for that depth when checking walking routes and the movement of nearby doors. This is an indoor wall light that can also supplement lighting in a living room, bedroom or dining room without taking up space on a table or cabinet.

Two replaceable E14 light sources

Bradbury has two E14 sockets and is supplied without bulbs. The manufacturer specifies a maximum wattage of 40 W and compatibility with dimmable lamps. If dimming is required, suitable bulbs and compatible control equipment must be selected together. The fitting alone does not determine the brightness or colour temperature of the finished installation.

The bulbs are exposed within the frame, so their shape and surface appearance become part of the design. Check the dimensions of your chosen bulbs as well as their socket type. There is no full shade concealing the light sources, which makes this choice visually significant even when the fitting is unlit.

Classical details in textured steel

Symmetrical candle-style holders, curved rods and twisted lower details distinguish this version from a plain enclosed wall fitting. Grey Ash can be coordinated visually with other members of the Bradbury family. The light uses a mains supply and is Class I, requiring an appropriate protective-earth connection.
