Ensemble pendant lamp - 1 light source - Brushed bronze Quintiesse

Quintiesse Ensemble QN-ENSEMBLE1P-BB is a single-light pendant with an open steel frame in brushed bronze. Rectangular bars surround an exposed bulb rather than enclosing it inside a solid shade. A black cable connects the geometric body to a square ceiling canopy with a matching metallic finish.

Body size is not the installed drop

The fitting itself is 297 mm high, with a manufacturer-listed diameter of 178 mm. Those dimensions describe the frame, not the complete suspended installation. The overall drop can be set between 359 and 2069 mm during installation, and the supplied cable is 1829 mm long. Above a dining table or kitchen island, compare the intended drop with both ceiling height and worktop height before deciding where the lower edge should sit.

The manufacturer also permits installation on a sloped ceiling and use of this fitting as a wall light. These are supported mounting arrangements, rather than a suggestion to improvise a conversion. The square canopy measures 127 × 127 mm and is 25 mm high.

Choose the bulb and controls separately

One E27 socket accepts a bulb rated up to 60 W or a suitable LED alternative. No bulb is included. Brightness and colour temperature therefore depend on the light source you select; the bronze finish does not determine the colour of the emitted light. Because the frame is open, the bulb remains a visible part of the design, making its shape relevant as well as its output.

Dimming requires a dimmable bulb and a compatible dimmer switch, which is not supplied. The fitting is designed for 220–240 V mains and is Class I.

A geometric accent with an exposed source

The metal cage, visible bulb and straight-edged construction support modern, industrial and loft-style interiors. Its compact body can provide a decorative lighting point in a living room, dining area or bedroom. Over a table or island, plan either one pendant or a row according to the surface size and the amount of light required, rather than assuming one bulb will illuminate the entire room.
