Nowodvorski SPHERE L 7850 pendant light – clear glass, 25 cm, E27

The Nowodvorski SPHERE L 7850 is a single pendant light with a clear glass globe measuring 25 cm across. Black painted steel details contrast with the transparent shade, leaving the bulb visible as part of the fitting's appearance.

A 25 cm globe in the L size

The glass shade is 24.5 cm high, while the fitting has a maximum overall height of 130 cm. Compare that measurement with your ceiling height and the position of the surface below before planning its location. The individual globe can mark out a dining table, kitchen island or a separate area within a living room. It can also provide a suspended light point in a bedroom. A single socket does not, by itself, establish whether the fitting will light an entire room adequately.

The rounded outline, slender suspension and limited black detailing suit modern and minimalist interiors. Clear glass allows a view through the shade rather than presenting a solid, opaque surface. It also leaves the light source on display, so the choice of bulb affects the appearance when the light is off as well as on.

Choose an E27 LED bulb separately

There is one replaceable E27 light source, and no bulb is supplied. The manufacturer specifies LED only, with a maximum wattage of 25 W. This is the permitted bulb limit, not a fixed consumption or brightness rating for the completed light. Colour temperature and light output depend on the bulb you select. Consider its shape and how directly it will be visible from your usual seated position beneath the glass globe.

Installation and the glass finish

A mounting bracket secures the fitting to the ceiling. Electrical installation must be carried out by a suitably qualified person. The package contains the luminaire, user instructions and assembly instructions. This is an indoor fitting, not an outdoor light.

The supplied manual explains that glass blowing can leave up to five air bubbles in a shade, which the manufacturer does not classify as a defect. Clean only after switching off and allowing the fitting to cool, using a damp cloth. Keep moisture away from electrical connections and allow the fitting to dry completely before switching it on.
