Lucide FOSKAL LED flush ceiling light 79177/06/01, brass finish, 6 W, 21.5 cm

Lucide FOSKAL 79177/06/01 is a compact flush ceiling light built around a curved metal disc in a brass finish. Its circular centre and broad surrounding rim carry an irregular decorative pattern. The integrated LED illuminates the rim rather than displaying a conventional bulb beneath a shade.

A shallow fitting with a visible metal surface

At 21.5 cm in diameter and 5.2 cm high, FOSKAL sits close to the ceiling without a hanging cable or suspended lampshade. This makes its vertical footprint quite different from that of a pendant, while leaving a distinct decorative element overhead. Compare the diameter with the available ceiling area and the position of the electrical connection before deciding where to install it.

Neither the height nor the light direction is adjustable. Consider it a fixed ceiling fitting, not a spotlight that can be aimed at a particular object. The brass tone and patterned surface support a vintage setting; the simple disc shape also works with restrained contemporary interiors.

Included warm-white LED lighting

The integrated source is rated at 6 W, 480 lm and 2700 K. Its warm-white colour differs from neutral task lighting, while the 120° beam and diffuse distribution distinguish it from a narrow spotlight. When planning a living room, kitchen or dining area, take the other lights into account: an output of 480 lm does not establish that one fitting will adequately illuminate a room of any size.

Placement and switching

Use it for a hallway or entrance area, or as supplementary lighting in a bedroom or living room. It is not a substitute for a directed reading light. The manufacturer specifies indoor use; bathroom and outdoor suitability are not established for this version.

This fitting is not dimmable and is operated by a wall switch, which is not included. A qualified electrician should connect it to the 220–240 V supply in accordance with the manual. The official fixture warranty is three years, rather than five.
