NORLYS Asker PRO 1317AL LED bollard light 7.9 W 3000 K 85 cm, aluminium finish RAL 9006

NORLYS Asker PRO 1317AL is an 85 cm bollard light with a rectangular upright and a projecting horizontal head. The AL version has an aluminium-coloured RAL 9006 finish over a powder-coated cast-aluminium body. Its flat surfaces and absence of ornamental details suit modern and minimalist garden architecture.

A low light point beside a path

Norlys specifies this fitting for gardens, private grounds and architectural lighting. Its low format allows a light point beside pedestrian routes, terrace edges or a driveway. The head occupies a 20 × 11 cm footprint. Compare that projection with the intended position before installation, leaving the pedestrian route unobstructed. This is a bollard rather than a tall column for lighting a carriageway.

The PRO version uses a transparent PMMA Ledil VSM lens with an IESNA type V distribution. Its integrated LED module produces warm-white 3000 K light. The manufacturer distinguishes the source output of 828 lm from the complete luminaire output of 599 lm. Use the latter and the supplied photometric data when planning the installation; the bollard height alone does not establish the appropriate spacing or number of fittings.

DALI2/TD control and an integrated source

The LED source is rated at 5.8 W, while the complete fitting draws 7.9 W. An electronic driver is included, and control is through DALI2/TD. This version therefore needs to be considered alongside the intended control installation, not selected as a screw-in-bulb fitting. The manufacturer specifies professional servicing for replacement of either the LED module or its control gear.

Choose the mounting arrangement first

The fixing arrangement has four 8 mm holes at 18 × 50 mm centres. Norlys lists anchors and mounting adapters as separately sold accessories, so choose them for the actual support surface rather than assuming they arrive with the lamp. The fitting has IP65 and IK08 ratings. Installation and electrical work must be carried out by a suitably qualified person following the manufacturer's instructions.
