ARGON CORSO 3878 is a white painted-steel wall light with an exposed bulb beneath a flat circular disc. A slender arm extends from the round wall plate and curves down towards the lampholder. The fitting's appearance therefore depends on the shape of the bulb as well as the white metal structure.

The bulb remains part of the design

There is one E27 socket for an LED or energy-saving bulb rated up to 15 W. The light source is not included. The decorative bulb in the manufacturer's photograph illustrates a possible arrangement, not the contents of the package. An Edison-style LED bulb is an option, provided its fitting and wattage meet the stated requirements.

Your choice of bulb determines the light's colour and brightness. Compare its colour temperature and luminous flux before buying; the 15 W limit does not describe the brightness of the complete wall light. The metal disc sits above the bulb and restricts light travelling directly upwards. It does not enclose the source like a closed shade.

Planning its place on the wall

ARGON specifies a height of 250 mm and a width of 180 mm. Compare these dimensions with the available wall area and the position of the electrical connection. The projecting arm and bulb also need space in front of the wall, particularly near furniture or along a passage. The fitting operates on 230 V.

White metal with an industrial outline

The exposed source, simple metal arm and open construction support an industrial or loft-style setting. The white finish and restrained geometry also work with modern, minimalist and Scandinavian interiors.

CORSO can provide supplementary wall lighting in a living room, bedroom, dining room or entrance hall. The manufacturer also identifies kitchens, studies, youth rooms and hospitality dining spaces as uses. Choose the bulb with that position in mind: it remains directly visible, and the disc is not a diffuser surrounding the light source.
