Quintiesse Wellington QN-WELLINGTON1-AB is a wall light with a narrow, vertical shade of clear ribbed glass. Its steel structure has an aged-brass finish. A rectangular backplate and cylindrical metal fittings frame the visible lamp, combining a geometric outline with vintage-inspired detailing.
Plan for its height and projection
The fitting measures 400 mm high and 81 mm wide, with a projection of 121 mm from the wall. Check both the available wall area and the clearance in front of it when choosing a position. Height is not adjustable, so the mounting position needs to suit the electrical connection and surrounding furnishings.
The manufacturer specifies indoor use, including bathrooms, and an IP44 rating. Consider it beside a mirror or as supplementary wall lighting in a living room, bedroom or hallway. Bathroom positioning must comply with the applicable installation requirements: IP44 does not make every location exposed to water suitable.
A replaceable LED tube lamp is included
The single E27 socket comes with a 7 W T30 LED filament lamp. The supplied light source has a colour temperature of 3000 K and a stated output of 820 lm. The separate 60 W figure is the fitting's maximum lamp rating, not the consumption of the supplied LED. This is not an integrated LED fitting. When replacing the lamp, check its tubular shape as well as its cap: the narrow glass requires a suitably shaped replacement, not simply any E27 bulb.
The fitting is compatible with dimmable lamps. Dimming requires a suitable dimmable light source and a compatible dimmer switch; the switch is not included. Wellington operates on a 220–240 V mains supply and is a Class I fitting.
Aged brass rather than polished chrome
Vertical glass ribs leave the light source visible, while the metal collars define the cylindrical shade. These details suit vintage schemes or contemporary interiors with period-inspired accents. This is the aged-brass version of the Wellington family, not the polished-chrome alternative.
