Lucide GRADO 22974/01/15 is a single ceiling spotlight with a slim cylindrical head and a square ceiling plate. Its brushed grey aluminium finish links a flat mounting base with an elongated tube, without a broad shade or decorative arms.
Check the space below the ceiling
The overall dimensions are 10 × 10 × 23 cm. The ceiling plate measures 10 × 10 cm and is 2.5 cm high, while the cylindrical shade is 3.9 cm in diameter and 13.5 cm long. Compare both the available ceiling area and the clearance beneath it before choosing a position. The fixture is not height-adjustable.
The head rotates and tilts, allowing the light to be directed towards a chosen part of the interior rather than only straight down. Possible uses include highlighting a picture in a living room, a storage area in a walk-in wardrobe or a section of a hallway. In a kitchen, dining room, bedroom or study, the number and position of fixtures should follow the overall lighting plan. A single directional light point does not guarantee even illumination throughout a room.
The bulb format matters
No bulb is supplied. The fixture takes one GU10 bulb in the compact MR11 format, with a maximum power of 40 W. Lucide recommends its 49094/04/30 light source. Matching the GU10 base alone is not enough: the bulb dimensions must also suit the narrow head.
Brightness, colour temperature and beam distribution depend on the bulb you buy. Dimming requires a dimmable bulb and a compatible dimmer, which is not included. The fixture's dimming compatibility should not be mistaken for a built-in brightness control.
Installation and visual character
GRADO is designed for indoor ceiling mounting and a 230 V supply. Its Class I construction requires a protective earth connection, and the instructions call for installation by a qualified electrician. Installation materials are included. The cylindrical head and angular base suit modern, minimalist interiors; use one fixture or plan several separately mounted GRADO light points.
