Lucide RIXT flush ceiling light black/matt gold E27 21120/01/30

Lucide RIXT 21120/01/30 is a metal flush ceiling light combining a closed black upper section with an open frame in a matt gold or brass tone. The single bulb remains visible between the slender edges, so its shape forms part of the finished appearance rather than disappearing behind a shade.

A fixed projection from the ceiling

The fitting measures 10 cm long, 10 cm wide and 18 cm high. It mounts directly to the ceiling rather than hanging from a cable, and its height is not adjustable. Compare the fixed projection with the space available above opening doors and tall furniture before choosing its position.

Its small footprint makes it an option for a hallway or entrance area. It can also be considered for a living room, bedroom, kitchen or dining room, but the role of one fitting depends on the selected bulb and the size of the space. RIXT is not a directional spotlight: there is no adjustable head for aiming the beam at a particular work surface.

Choose the light source and controls

One E27 socket accepts a bulb rated up to 40 W. No bulb is supplied. A suitable E27 LED bulb can be used, with the bulb's lumen output and colour temperature determining brightness and light colour. The gold finish of the frame does not establish a warm-white light output.

Dimming requires both a dimmable bulb and a compatible dimmer, purchased separately. Fitting a dimmable bulb alone does not provide a control. Check the bulb's dimensions against the open frame as well as its electrical compatibility; the exposed source is a visible element of this ceiling light.

Geometry, finish and installation

The contrast between the solid black block and the fine gold outline combines a vintage reference with straightforward modern geometry. There is no opaque lower shade concealing the bulb. RIXT is intended for indoor use and requires a mains connection with an earth conductor. The manufacturer includes installation materials, while the manual calls for installation by a qualified electrician. Disconnect the supply before installation or changing the bulb, and allow hot parts to cool before touching them.
