Gea Luce GPL240N is a white LED ceiling light shaped as a short cylinder. Its aluminium body has a matt finish, with a methacrylate diffuser closing the underside. This version uses an integrated module to provide neutral white light at 4000 K. It is not the warm white variant or a fitting that requires a separately selected bulb.
A small cylinder mounted against the ceiling
The fitting measures 12 cm in diameter and 6.5 cm in height. Compare these dimensions with the position of your electrical outlet and the arrangement of any other lights before choosing its location. There is no pendant drop: the cylindrical body sits directly against the ceiling. Smooth sides and a circular light surface give it a modern, minimalist appearance without decorative arms or additional shades.
GPL240N is intended for indoor ceiling installation. It can provide a lighting point in a hallway or walk-in wardrobe, or supplement lighting in a living room, bedroom, kitchen or study. The number of fittings should be chosen with the room size and existing lighting in mind. A small housing does not, by itself, establish how much space one light will illuminate.
Neutral white light with on/off operation
The integrated LED module is rated at 12 W, with a declared luminous flux of 1020 lm. Light is directed downwards through a 110° beam. This is broader than a narrow accent beam, but does not guarantee even illumination throughout a room. The distance between the ceiling and the surface being lit also affects the illumination reaching that surface.
This fitting is not dimmable: its control is limited to switching on and off. The LED module and transformer are included, so there is no separate bulb to purchase. Check the complete GPL240N code and the 4000 K specification when comparing variants.
Connection and care
The supply is 220–240 V AC at 50/60 Hz, and the fitting belongs to electrical protection class I. Installation must be performed by qualified personnel with the mains supply isolated. The instructions permit cleaning with a damp cloth and mild detergent, followed by gentle drying. Keep water and cleaning agents away from cables and electrical components.
