Lucide RITMO 09942/13/02 ceiling spotlight, matt gold/black, 3×GU10-MR11, Ø18 cm

Lucide RITMO 09942/13/02 is a three-head ceiling spotlight with cylindrical aluminium heads in a matt gold finish and a round black mounting plate. Its brushed surfaces and repeated geometric shapes suit a modern interior. This 18 cm version takes three replaceable GU10 bulbs in the compact MR11 format.

Three heads, separate lighting directions

The heads rotate and tilt, so their beams do not have to point towards the same part of the room. A single ceiling fitting can therefore direct light towards different areas without requiring three separate mounting plates. In a living room, that can support selected lighting accents; in a hallway, it can illuminate the route through the space. In a kitchen or study, it can form part of a wider lighting scheme.

RITMO provides directional lighting rather than the continuous luminous surface of a broad diffuser. The beam angle and light output of the selected bulbs also affect the result. When planning lighting above a table or work area, consider those properties alongside the fitting's position, rather than assuming that three heads guarantee a particular brightness.

Bulbs and dimming requirements

Bulbs are not supplied. Each socket accepts a GU10-MR11 bulb rated at no more than 35 W. MR11 describes the bulb format here, not a requirement for a 12 V supply: the fitting is intended for a 230 V installation. Suitable LED bulbs can be used. Their specifications determine the light colour and output; the gold finish does not establish either.

Dimming requires dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer, which is not included. The fitting by itself does not provide brightness control without those components.

Size and ceiling installation

The mounting plate is 18 cm across and the maximum overall height is 11.1 cm. Each head measures 4 cm in diameter and 7.7 cm high. This is not a suspended pendant with an adjustable cable length. Installation materials are included. A qualified electrician should carry out the connection, including the protective earth required for this class I fitting.
