The SLV NUMINOS L CL PHASE 1004315 is a black LED light for surface mounting on a ceiling. Its matt aluminium cylinder has a recessed light opening surrounded by a dark ring. This is the 2700 K version with a 36° beam, rather than a recessed fitting whose body disappears into a ceiling void.

A defined pool of warm white light

The fitting delivers 2300 lm at 20 W and directs its light downwards. Its 36° beam concentrates illumination on a particular area instead of spreading it broadly through an opal shade. When planning lighting for a larger room, the number of fittings, their spacing and the ceiling height therefore need to be considered together.

A colour temperature of 2700 K provides warm white light, while CRI 90 describes its colour rendering. This combination can be used for individual zones within living rooms, dining rooms and hallways. The light can also form part of a planned spotlight layout in a hotel or restaurant. The stated lumen output alone is not a promise that one fitting will illuminate an entire room evenly.

Allow for the body and the dimmer

The cylinder measures 10 cm in diameter and 21.3 cm in height. Its full height remains below the ceiling, so compare this dimension with the available space before choosing a mounting position. The unadorned tubular shape suits modern and minimalist interiors without introducing decorative arms or a fabric shade.

The PHASE version supports trailing-edge phase dimming. Choose a compatible dimmer and check its minimum load; this is not the DALI version. The supply is 220–240 V. As a Class I fitting it requires a protective earth connection, and installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician.

Built-in LED and maintenance

The fixed LED light source and the control gear are replaceable only by a qualified professional. For routine care, wipe the outside with a cloth lightly moistened with water, after disconnecting the power and allowing the fitting to cool.
