The Zambelis S180 is a surface-mounted ceiling spotlight with a sandy black aluminium body. Its cylindrical shell surrounds a recessed, movable light aperture, allowing the beam to be aimed without turning the entire housing. The plain, unornamented outline suits modern and minimalist interiors.
A focused beam with adjustable direction
The light assembly tilts through 30° and rotates through 360°. Combined with a 38° beam angle, this provides directed illumination rather than a broadly diffused wash. Choose the ceiling position in relation to the surface you want to illuminate: the adjustment helps refine the aim but does not replace a considered lighting layout.
The built-in LEDs use 10 W and deliver 720 lm at a warm-white colour temperature of 3000 K. This makes the spotlight an option for supplementary lighting in living rooms, bedrooms and hallways. A CRI of 90 describes colour rendering, relevant when illuminating coloured objects and finishes. The colour temperature is fixed rather than selected by choosing a separate bulb.
A visible cylinder beneath the ceiling
The body measures 8.5 cm in diameter and 13 cm high. It sits on the ceiling surface instead of disappearing into a recessed opening. Compare that projection with the available clearance above a walkway or fitted furniture before choosing its position. Electrical installation and maintenance should be carried out by a professional electrician.
Its IP44 rating also allows consideration in bathroom lighting plans, provided the location meets the applicable installation requirements. It does not permit unrestricted placement beside water. In an attic room, the actual ceiling slope and available tilt range matter more than the room designation alone.
Integrated LEDs, without dimming
There is no separate bulb to buy: the LED source is built in and the driver is included. The S180 is non-dimmable. According to the installation instructions, replacement of the integrated source is restricted to the manufacturer, its service agent or a similarly qualified person. It is not a standard user-replaceable bulb fitting.
